ESG management, public communication, collaboration between relevant organizations, and cooperation with stakeholders and regions in general
I studied biological oceanography, phytoplankton ecology, and biogeochemical cycles at Pusan National University.
I earned my Ph.D. from Pusan National University, focusing on confirming the nutritional value of phytoplankton, which drives primary production in marine ecosystems. My research involved analyzing the horizontal and vertical spatial distribution trends of phytoplankton biochemical composition in the Arctic Ocean, investigating the sedimentation mechanism of organic carbon, and identifying the factors that control it.
I am deeply interested in the carbon absorbed by the ocean and marine ecosystems. My goal is to develop a system for evaluating long-term risks and opportunities related to marine ecosystems by integrating the principles of the Task Force on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) into corporate ESG disclosure frameworks. Additionally, I aim to highlight the importance of conserving marine biodiversity and propose sustainable marine resource management strategies.
